Acts of Heroism
Everyday people fighting back is how we reclaim our country
MAGA is hoping that everyday Americans do not notice as they override our democracy and social norms. They want to normalize their behavior in the same way that Trump has been normalized in the media. It builds a permanent power for MAGA when ordinary people do nothing.
When their behavior is questioned, when its rejected, you can hear their fear. Its not when people directly attack MAGA, but when people reject the culture of MAGA. When Rev. Budde gave her sermon of mercy, it was a direct attack on the hatred that powers the MAGA movement. When Gov. Walz calling MAGA "weird", it went viral for weeks with catching MAGA completely off-guard. Its moments like these that MAGA fears the most. When everyday people see MAGA for what they are, what they represent, and turn them away.
These stories show that Americans are not going to simply let MAGA take over their lives. These are stories of people fighting back against hatred, bigotry, misogyny, conspiracies, lies, and fascism. They are holding the line, hoping that people like you and me will join in the fight for freedom and democracy.

Department of Justice prosecutors resign rather than commit to Trump scheme
February, 2025
Danielle Sassoon resigned rather than obey the order to drop the case against New York City Major Eric Adams. At a Jan. 31 meeting she attended with Bove, she said, Adams’ lawyers floated a quid pro quo, whereby Adams could help Trump on immigration if the charges were dismissed. Bove, Sassoon wrote, “admonished” a member of her team for taking notes during the meeting and later had the notes collected.
This prompted a wave of resignations in the Justice Department. In another resignation letter by Hagan Scotten, he accused Bove and Trump of embracing a deal with Adams in which the Justice Department would drop the charges in exchange for the mayor’s support of Trump’s policy agenda.
The Justice Department under Bove and Bondi, Trump appointees, appear to be waiving charges against Democrat Eric Adams in exchange for the mayor's cooperation in immigration enforcement.
